Gifted 2020

Gifted consists of suspended small handmade window envelopes containing a single feather.  Each feather has been found whilst walking and brought home.

On one occasion when I was feeling very low I found a single Jay feather shot with brilliant blue.  It lifted my spirits and felt like a gift from God.

When exhibited  each day a few letters were left around the gallery for people to find and either keep for themselves or take it to someone they knew would appreciate it.

This piece lives on wherever those letter found homes, and it regenerates as I find new feathers to store for the future.
