The ceramic piece was picked up on a beach in Isle of Arran. The hand embroidered cloth is part of the presentation box.
Mary Flowers (2020)
Brass and copper hanging with hand embroidered Bible pages mounted on Calico. The flowers are associated with Mary Mother of Jesus and the Bible pages refer to her.
Small Metal Work
Within my Foundation Degree I was able to try out small metal work. This is something I would like to return to in the future; particularly to explore the combination of metal and textiles.
